Cafes
The selection of cafes in Białystok is huge. They are all different in terms of the decor or types of beverages served. The pub owners never cease to come up with new original ideas on how to arrange the interiors, despite the fact that most of the pubs are located in cellars, sometimes in attics. The one similar characteristic are the prices which are generally the same everywhere.Weekend pub traffic is usually very big and it might not be all that easy to find a seat in the more popular places. No such problem on weekdays, however.
Most of the cafes are located in the city centre, in the area of the streets of Lipowa and Rynek Kosciuszki. They can also be found in the housing districts.
In the summer time most of the cafe life moves outdoors, to the open air cafes. Credit cards are accepted in the majority of places.
